Ashkelon to hold free meetings for discharged soldiers and reservists
The Ashkelon Municipality announced a free series of meetings called “Month of Opportunities” for people who have completed military or national service, as well as active reservists. The meetings will take place at the city’s Youth Center from October 12 to November 2.
The four meetings will offer practical guidance on issues that may arise after service: finding a job and navigating the workplace, education and choosing a profession, the rights of discharged soldiers and reservists, and sound financial management.
The first meeting, on employment and the world of work, will take place on October 12. Education and career choice will be discussed on October 19, followed by a session on the rights of discharged soldiers and reservists on October 26. The final meeting, on financial management, is scheduled for November 2.
All meetings are scheduled from 17:30 to 20:00 at the Ashkelon Youth Center, 18 Yaakov Gruper Street. Participation is free, and advance registration is required.
