What to know before listing
Is adding a business really free?
Yes. The initial listing and basic page setup are free.
What happens after I submit the form?
We prepare a draft of the page and send you a private preview link that shows exactly how the listing will look. Once the portal team has checked it, usually within a day, the page goes live in the directory and an announcement runs in the city Facebook group.
Do I need to build the page myself?
No. You provide the information and materials; the portal team prepares the page.
What logo and photos do you need?
A square logo in PNG or JPG. You can attach up to five photos or short videos: work, interior, products. All of it is optional, but listings with a logo and photos get noticeably more enquiries.
Which contact details will visitors see?
Phone, WhatsApp and website appear on the business page as contact buttons. Your email stays with the portal team and is never published on the page.
Can information be updated later?
Yes. Contacts, services, hours, images and descriptions can be updated through the portal team.
Is it suitable for small businesses and independent professionals?
Yes. The page is designed for companies, shops, local services and independent professionals in Ashkelon.
Can I also post a promotion or a job opening?
Yes, each has its own form: promotions appear in the Promotions section, jobs in the Jobs section. The business itself only needs to be added once.
