Ashkelon.org.il is an independent city information portal about Ashkelon. We are not the municipality's website and do not represent any government body — this is a private editorial project for the city's residents and new immigrants.
The portal is run by a private individual as an independent project; there is no legal entity, the operator is Leonid Goldberg, tel. 0557738943, goldberg@ashkelon.org.il; general address: info@ashkelon.org.il. It is not connected to the Ashkelon Municipality, receives no funding from it and does not act on its behalf. Details in company listings, events and vacancies are supplied by the organisations and organisers themselves — publication is not an editorial endorsement.

Where possible, we cite the original source directly under the piece — a link to the municipality, a government body, an event organiser, or another outlet. We try not to publish claims as fact without a verifiable source.
If a piece is substantively edited after publication (a factual correction, new information), that is reflected in an "Updated" date under the piece — we do not change that date for typos or cosmetic edits.
If you spot an inaccuracy — in a news item, a business listing, or a guide — write to us at info@ashkelon.org.il. We review such reports and correct confirmed errors.
As of today, the portal does not run paid content or paid business listings. If that changes, any paid placement will be clearly labelled as advertising, without exception.
The portal does not require registration. Optional analytics runs only with your consent; job applications, AI-assistant messages and form data are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
