Who collects the data

Is providing data mandatory

No. Browsing the portal needs no data. What you enter in the application form, submission forms, the chat and emails is provided voluntarily; if you decline, you simply cannot send that application, submission or question. There are no other consequences.

Which data and what for

• Job application: name, phone, message — to forward the application to whoever posted the vacancy;
• Submission forms: business, event, vacancy or listing details, contacts, photos — for moderation and publication;
• AI assistant: message text, page and conversation ID — to produce a reply;
• Emails and complaints: what you include — to reply and correct the material;
• Analytics (only with consent): cookie identifiers, IP, pages, device — to understand which sections are useful.

Who receives it

• Whoever posted the vacancy — application data;
• The automation service (n8n) the portal uses to forward applications, notify editors and run the AI assistant;
• A third-party AI model provider — chat messages;
• Yandex and Google — analytics, only with consent;
• The mail and hosting providers the portal runs on.

Transfers outside Israel

Transfer to Yandex, Google and the AI provider is possible. Compliance of these transfers with the applicable rules and contractual safeguards is being verified; until confirmed we make no claim of compliance.

Retention

Final retention periods for applications in automation logs, AI conversations and correspondence are not yet set; we will publish them here. Data delivered to an employer is kept by the employer.

Your rights

You may find out what data we hold about you, get a copy, and ask for correction or deletion. Write to info@ashkelon.org.il. We will review the request and reply within a reasonable time, taking applicable legal requirements into account. For data sent to an employer, contact the employer.

Whether registration or another notification duty applies depends on the data and its scale and is being assessed with counsel; this page does not claim that none applies.
