Ashkelon opens registration for 2026–27 after-school programs
Ashkelon’s municipal company has opened registration for the Nitzanim program for the 2026–27 school year. It is available in kindergartens and grades 1–2 in regular and special education; applications are submitted online and tied to the child’s assigned school or kindergarten.
Registration opened on 5 August. The program runs during the school year, from 1 September through 30 June, Sunday to Thursday until 4:00 or 5:00 p.m., depending on the framework.
It provides a structured extension of the school day, educational and enrichment activities, clubs, homework support and a hot meal. The program operates in Ashkelon kindergartens and for grades 1–2, including special education.
