Nine young Ashkelon musicians performed in an international orchestra in Europe
Nine young musicians from Ashkelon have returned to Israel after an eight-day music programme with young musicians from Germany, Ukraine and Poland.

They joined an international orchestra of about 60 musicians. Among other pieces, the orchestra performed the Israeli songs "Jerusalem of Gold" and "Here I Was Born".
The Ashkelon participants were selected from dozens of candidates at the municipal conservatory. During the project, the musicians also got to know and build ties with participants from other countries.
The delegation included players of saxophone, drums, bass guitar, guitar, piano and violin.
