Ashkelon schools continue summer upgrades ahead of September 1
Ashkelon Municipality is continuing its summer upgrade program in schools and kindergartens ahead of the new school year. At Ramat Kramim school, the sports hall is receiving a new acoustic ceiling and roof, while other facilities are undergoing accessibility, infrastructure and learning-space works.
The work is being carried out during the summer break to prepare education facilities for the 2026–27 school year. The municipality says renovation, renewal, expansion and construction work is underway at dozens of institutions across Ashkelon.
At Ramat Kramim school, the project includes replacing the sports hall’s acoustic ceiling, removing the solar system on the roof, replacing the roof and installing a new solar system. At Eitan special-education school, the renovation has entered another phase; other facilities are receiving infrastructure upgrades, accessibility adaptations and renewed learning spaces.
