Family events and a history festival planned in Ashkelon for Sukkot
Family events are planned in Ashkelon on Monday and Tuesday, including activities at Eco-Park, a history festival and performances along the promenade.
On Monday, September 28, a family event will take place at the municipal sukkah in Eco-Park, starting at 16:00. Activities include inflatables, a virtual reality area, game tables and creative workshops in concrete crafts and jewelry making. Admission is free.
The two-day Time Travel 5 festival, celebrating the city’s historic sites, begins on Tuesday, September 29. From 10:00, children can take part in workshops, coloring activities, mosaic assembly and other activities. Michal HaKtana will perform at 17:00 on the lawn near Beit Ha'am, followed by Shahar Tabuch at 18:00.
Also on September 29, events with music and performances will begin at 18:00 at two locations along the promenade. A juggling show is planned at the lookout, and a fire show at the food truck area in the square by Ariel Sharon and HaKonkhiya streets. The main performances begin at 19:30. Admission is free.
Parking in blue-and-white marked spaces will be free throughout the holiday.
