The Ashkelon Municipality, through the city’s economic company, said a new wide shade structure is currently being installed along Dalia Beach. The aim is to make it more comfortable for beachgoers to stay there during hot summer days.

A new food truck has been placed at the beach, offering ice cream, cold drinks and beach-chair rentals. The municipality also says Dalia Beach now has upgraded sports and leisure facilities, including beach-volleyball courts, table-tennis tables, a functional strength-and-fitness area, and an archery and ninja area.

Upgrades are also continuing at Ashkelon’s separate beach. According to the municipality, the work includes lifeguard-tower maintenance, improved partitions adapted to safety requirements, renewed barriers, an accessible hammock area, a sand-and-water play zone for children, and renovated separation shelters. Another food truck is expected to operate there after the work is completed.

For residents: those planning a visit can check the shade, chair rentals and services on site at Dalia Beach. For current information about beach conditions and municipal services, contact the city’s 106 hotline.
