Ashkelon Municipality warns residents about scam messages
According to Ashkelon Municipality, messages of this kind may be fraudulent. Residents are advised to verify information only through the municipality’s official channels or the city hotline at 106.
The municipality advised residents not to open links in suspicious messages, share personal or credit card information, or make payments through a message.
The city also recommends passing on the warning to family members, especially older people, to help them avoid such scams.
