Épée fencing
Coach Roman Trachtenberg. Phone and WhatsApp: 054-2152952.
Ashkelon Fencing Club welcomes children and teenagers aged 7 and up for épée and sabre training. Groups are organised by age and skill level, so children can start without previous experience or continue developing their fencing skills. The first trial session is free and carries no commitment.
Training takes place at Yaakov Gruper 15 in Ashkelon. Beginners explore fencing through games, movement exercises and stance practice. More experienced fencers work on technique, tactics and fitness, with competition preparation available for athletes. Book a trial session on the club website or via Roman’s WhatsApp: 054-2152952. For the first session, bring long sports trousers, a comfortable T-shirt, clean sports shoes and water; there is no need to buy fencing equipment beforehand.
