Road sections in Shimshon will close for works on July 12–16
From Sunday, July 12, through Thursday, July 16, milling and asphalt works will take place in Ashkelon’s Shimshon neighborhood. The municipality says the works are scheduled for 08:00 to 17:00, and the active road sections will be fully closed. Residents are asked to move parked cars from the roadside in advance.
Ashkelon Municipality has published an operational notice about roadworks in the Shimshon neighborhood. The works include road-surface milling followed by asphalt paving on sections between Histadrut Street and Haim Moshe Shapira Street.

According to the municipal schedule, milling from Histadrut to Haim Moshe Shapira is planned for July 12, with milling in the opposite direction on July 13. Asphalt paving from Histadrut to Haim Moshe Shapira is scheduled to begin on July 14; on July 15 the works continue in both directions, and on July 16 asphalt will be laid from Haim Shapira to Histadrut.
