Ashkelon changes waste collection for election day
On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Ashkelon municipal offices will not receive visitors or provide services. The municipality announced the changes in connection with the election-day public holiday.
Waste collection arrangements across the city will also change. Garden waste must not be put out for collection on Monday, October 26.
Collection from rubbish bins throughout Ashkelon will begin on Tuesday, October 27, at 22:00. Underground bins will be emptied according to the Tuesday and Wednesday schedules.
