Free parking lot with more than 400 spaces opens at Ashkelon station
A new free parking lot with more than 400 spaces has opened at Ashkelon railway station. The Ashkelon Municipality announced the opening on October 6.
Construction of a second parking lot is also underway. Once it is completed, visitors to the station will have access to about 820 new, organized and accessible parking spaces.
The municipality did not say when construction of the second lot is expected to be completed. Its announcement also included a link to a video.

On September 18, it was reported that the first parking lot near the railway station had been built and was expected to open after the Tishrei holidays. The municipality has now announced that it is open.
