Ashkelon Municipality to hand out free sukkah roofing near the city stadium
Ahead of the Sukkot holiday, Ashkelon Municipality is organizing a free distribution of schach — roofing material for the sukkah — near the city stadium.

Distribution schedule: September 20, 08:00–13:00; September 22–24, 08:00–14:00; September 25, 08:00–13:00.
Entry to the distribution area is through the sandy parking lot on the Eli Cohen – ORT roundabout side, opposite Kiryat HaAkademya (the campus).
The municipality reminds residents not to cut palm fronds themselves: this harms the trees and is against the law. The material may only be taken from official distribution points.
