Fire in a building on David Raziel Street in Ashkelon: two people rescued

Overnight into Friday, the 102 emergency line received a report of a fire in a building on David Raziel Street in Ashkelon.

Firefighters from the Ashkelon station arrived and began extinguishing the blaze. While searching the building, they found two people on the top floor who had inhaled smoke. They were evacuated and handed over to medics.

A fire investigator was also called to the scene to determine the circumstances of the fire.
