Police close Ashkelon villa used for private events for 30 days
Ashkelon police inspected a villa believed to have been used for private events after numerous noise complaints. The property has been closed by administrative order for 30 days.
Following numerous noise complaints and repeated disturbances of public order, Ashkelon police inspected a villa believed to have been used for private events.
During yesterday's inspection, a private event was taking place. Police confiscated sound equipment, and the two owners of the property were taken in for questioning.
After a hearing, the deputy commander of the Southern Police District signed an administrative order closing the property for 30 days. During this period, commercial activity at the site is prohibited.
Police said they will continue to combat noise nuisances and public order violations that affect residents' quality of life.
