Four suspects in car thefts in the Lachish area arrested in the south

According to police, a group of suspects came from the East Jerusalem area to Gedera in order to commit crimes. Officers located a vehicle believed to have served the gang as an escort car and arrested its driver on Route 3.

Three more suspects were arrested as the operation continued, bringing the total to four. According to preliminary findings, the gang may be linked to four recent car thefts in the Lachish area.

All detainees have been handed over for further investigation.
