Part of Ben-Gurion Boulevard in Ashkelon to close at night
Ashkelon Municipality announced on July 29 that nighttime infrastructure work will take place on Ben-Gurion Boulevard. From Sunday to Tuesday, August 2–4, the southern side of the road between HaTayasim and Heil HaYam streets will be closed to vehicles from 22:00 to 05:00; drivers are asked to use alternative routes.
According to the municipality, the closure is connected to infrastructure work on the southern side of Ben-Gurion Boulevard. The restriction applies to the section between HaTayasim and Heil HaYam streets and is limited to nighttime hours.
The work is scheduled for three nights: from Sunday to Tuesday, August 2–4, 2026. On those dates, vehicle traffic will be closed from 22:00 to 05:00.
Drivers should plan an alternative route in advance and follow instructions on site. The municipality asks residents to use other roads during the work hours.
