For one evening, Ashkelon's International Convention Center becomes home to choirs from across the country. The annual National Festival of Jewish Choirs brings together dozens of ensembles — adult and children's — performing songs in Yiddish, liturgical prayers, and classics of Jewish music.

This is more than a concert — it is memory. Every performance is an act of tribute to the generations who preserved the culture and the language. The children's choirs are especially moving: when young voices sing in Yiddish, there are tears in the hall even from those attending for the first time.
Admission is free. Organized by the Israeli Jewish Cultural Center.
